Receive a Complete Range of Professional Chiropractic Services

Are you suffering from back pain caused by your muscles, nerves, or joints? Come to Egbert Chiropractic for a wide variety of chiropractic services designed to help ease your discomfort. Our family-owned and operated practice is certified in whiplash and traumatology, and we even treat children!

Manual adjustments involve moving joints in specific directions using high-velocity, low-amplitude thrusts. This restores optimal joint function, reduces pain, and increases the speed at which you heal. Our doctors perform this type of adjustment by hand.

Mechanical adjustments don't involve "cracking" or "popping" of any sort. Through the use of handheld instruments, a specific force is applied and guided by the doctor to restore proper joint function. At Egbert Chiropractic, we use both neuromechanical impulse adjusting instruments and the ProAdjuster.

Cox Flexion-Distraction

The Cox flexion-distraction technique utilizes a specialized table to promote decompression of the spinal joints. It's effective where you have discs that are bulging, herniated, or otherwise injured. It's also effective in treating injuries to the facet joints, stenosis, and spondylolisthesis.

Spinal Decompression Therapy

Spinal Decompression Therapy involves stretching the spine, using a traction table or similar motorized device, with the goal of relieving back pain and/or leg pain. Spinal decompression devices use the same basic principle of spinal traction that has been offered by chiropractors, osteopaths, and other appropriately trained health professionals for many years. Decompression therapy is applied with the goals of relieving pain and promoting an optimal healing environment for bulging, degenerating, or herniated discs. Spinal decompression is a type of traction therapy applied to the spine in an attempt to bring about several theoretical benefits including:

  • Create a negative intradiscal pressure to promote retraction or repositioning of the herniated or bulging disc material.
  • Create a 'pumping' action of nutrient rich fluide to aid the disc in the healing process. This process is call 'imbibition'

Muscle Stimulation

Electric muscle stimulation or "E-Stim" involves the use of a pair of electrodes that send electrical impulses through target muscle groups. This stimulates the nerves responsible for contracting your muscles, potentially improving local blood flow and reducing pain.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy increases your cells' ability to heal. It has shown to help with pain relief, reducing inflammation and accelerating the healing of wounds.

Massage Therapy

VibraCussor is a specific type of deep tissue massager we use at Egbert Chiropractic. It helps release tight, tender muscles, improves blood flow, and reduces pain. These effects are due to the way the device delivers waves of percussive force deeper into the muscle - more deeply than ordinary handheld massagers.

Kinesio Tape

Kinesio tape is a stretchy athletic tape. It's designed to improve the circulation of your blood and lymphatic fluids by creating tension and lifting the skin. Instead of restricting joint motion like what you'll find with traditional athletic taping, Kinesio tape provides support while offering proper biomechanical motion.
